A modular, innovative holiday home
Commissioned by Nijhof Woonwinkel, I have developed this modular Tiny House, in which the contrast between privacy and ultimate views are central. It has become the miniature version of a full-fledged Tiny House, with playful elements that make it innovative and stimulating.
Challenge
Although the whole is only 7 square meters, this Tiny House contains everything that a normal house also needs for a two-person household. Think of a kitchenette, bar to work or eat, a sitting area and also a hammock to relax in and of course a bathroom and a double bed.
The shape of the Tiny House and the movable slats on the outside of the building are central to this design. By varying this, new views are created and therefore also a new experience of the Tiny House. The layout can also be adapted as desired into an office space, mancave, garden room or a cabin where you only have a bathroom and bed.
